Biography
Marcus advises high-growth companies and their investors from early funding rounds through to acquisitions and exits. He has a particular interest in transactions that involve Malaysia and its neighbours, and in structuring investment so that it still works when circumstances change.
He also leads the real estate practice, advising landowners, developers, investors and occupiers on acquisitions, joint development arrangements and commercial leasing.
Marcus joined the firm in 2014 and became a partner in 2019. He writes often on investment terms for founders and mentors in Kuala Lumpur start-up programmes.
