Biography

Amelia leads the firm’s dispute resolution practice. She acts in commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular experience of shareholder and boardroom disputes, where the commercial relationship often matters as much as the legal outcome.

Before joining as a partner in 2016, Amelia practised in litigation for nine years, appearing regularly in the High Court and on appeal. She is known for early, candid assessments of merits and cost, and for preparing every matter as if it will be tried — which is often why it is not.

She also works with Nadia Rahman on contentious employment matters, and with the private client team when family disputes involve a business.

Contact

Requests to speak with Amelia go through the consultation request, which asks for the kind of matter, a short outline and when you are free to talk. In a live build, a direct line and email address would sit here as well; this concept deliberately has none.
